Navigate to the Payments section and select Products. From there, you can choose to import products directly from Stripe.
Provide the required details and click the Import Product & Price button to initiate the import process.
Which pricing plans are compatible with import?
Only Recurring or Subscription plans can be imported. One-time prices cannot be imported and need to be manually created within the system.
The plan/price being imported from Stripe must be in Live mode, as Test mode plans/prices are not supported. Importing "Metered" prices is impossible when importing a recurring plan/price.
If a Stripe plan/price has already been imported, it will not appear as an option when using the "Import From Stripe" feature.
During the process of importing prices from Stripe, we perform the following actions:
- Import the Stripe product associated with the price and create it doesn't already exist.
- Create a price under the imported product.
- Additionally, we create the same product and price in Stripe's TEST Mode and PayPal (if the integration is connected) for testing purposes.
In your Stripe account, there will be three types of pricing plans:
Prices created from the Agency level via the SaaS configurator:
- These prices will be tagged as Agency Plan with the product and price name on the product listing and details page.
- Prices created with the SaaS configurator cannot be edited in Payments.
- If you make updates directly in Stripe for these prices, the changes will not be reflected in the corresponding product/price.
- To change the price of a product created via the SaaS configurator, you need to edit the price in Stripe and then use the Import From Stripe button to import the new price. This will create a new product with an Agency Plan tag, which you can select in your Funnel or Website page settings.
For prices that were created by creating a product:
- When a product is created, a corresponding plan/price will be automatically created in Stripe.
- Any product pricing edits will automatically sync and update the corresponding plan/price in Stripe.
- However, any edits made directly to the pricing in Stripe will not automatically sync back. If you change the pricing in Stripe, you must import it as a new product to ensure the changes are reflected.
For prices that were created directly in Stripe:
- If you have created plans/prices in Stripe, you can use the "Import From Stripe" button to import them into your Products.
- Once imported, if you need to edit the price of an imported product, you can make the edit, and the change will automatically sync and update the corresponding plan/price in Stripe.
- However, if you edit the imported plan/price directly in Stripe, the product will not automatically reflect those changes. To update the product with the changed plan/price, you will need to import the updated plan/price as a new product.
