The Social Planner tool empowers you to seamlessly incorporate all your fan pages, enabling you to share content, interact with your Facebook audience, and manage engagements from a central Facebook Page.
Guide for Setting up Facebook Page Publishing
To establish a connection between your Facebook pages and the platform, please follow the steps outlined below:
- If you have previously connected your Facebook pages from any profile and wish to add new pages, you must first "Remove" the application. This can be done by accessing the Business Integration section in your Facebook account settings. Once removed, you can proceed with the following steps, as shown in the accompanying image.
- To add all your Facebook pages, you must have Admin rights. Ensure you log in using the same profile associated with the pages where you hold administrative privileges.
Note: Due to recent API changes implemented by Facebook, posting to personal profiles is no longer actively supported. However, you can still add pages from various profiles to Social Planner.
Step 1: Access Social Planner Settings To begin, navigate to Social Planner. Look for the Settings option located in the top right corner of the Social Planner interface. Click on the Gear icon to access the Settings.
Step 2: Connect a New Facebook Page Within the Settings, locate and click on the "Connect a new Facebook page" option from the provided table. This step allows you to manage multiple Facebook Pages within Social Planner.
Step 3: Grant Permissions to Fetch Facebook Page(s). If you are connecting a profile for the first time, granting all the necessary permissions is essential. Click on "Continue" to initiate the authorization process, enabling fetching your Facebook page(s).
Step 4: Select Facebook Page(s) to Connect A list of Facebook pages associated with the selected profile will be presented. Choose the pages you wish to connect with Social Planner from this list.
Step 5: Confirm Connection In the final step, you will see a confirmation of the successful connection for the selected pages. This will be displayed as a list, as illustrated in the accompanying image.
Following these instructions, you can add multiple pages from the same or different Facebook profiles to Social Planner.
Facebook offers two types of Pages: Classic and New Page experience. If you are utilizing the Classic page, kindly follow the process above. However, if you are using the New Page Experience, you will need to grant access to the following role:
